Job Description

This is a permanent opportunity based in Wellington with a salary mid-point of $193,274. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Technology Strategy within the Technology & Architecture division and will be focused specifically on the 'Our Future Services' programme.

You will:

  1. Work closely with the Immigration NZ Enterprise Architect and MBIE's wider Architecture function to ensure the programme remains aligned with central governance functions
  2. Support MBIE's strategy and architectural concerns within the Immigration systems 'Our Future Services' (OFS) Programme
  3. Identify, evaluate, and recommend strategic technology options for the OFS programme
  4. Ensure compliance between programme initiatives, enterprise transformation activities, and technology directions

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven ability to build trust, credibility, and form strong relationships at all levels within an organisation
  • Experience supporting or developing large Investment propositions or business cases with a strong focus on clarity of problems & benefits
  • Demonstrated understanding of medium to long-term technology trends and the implications for heavily digital and technology dependent organisations
