We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Architecture Lead to join our Digital Strategy and Architecture team. As an Enterprise Architecture Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Transpower New Zealand's technology landscape. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive enterprise architecture that aligns with the company's business strategy and objectives.
Your primary focus will be on driving business-IT alignment, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and developing solutions to support business growth and transformation. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to understand their needs and develop strategic plans to address them.
You will have a proven track record of success in enterprise architecture, with experience in developing and implementing architectures that drive business value. You will be able to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide insightful advice to support business decision-making.
About the Team
The Digital Strategy and Architecture team is responsible for ensuring that electricity is delivered to all New Zealanders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by maintaining and evolving complex critical IT systems. As a member of this team, you will be part of a collaborative and results-focused environment that values innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an enterprise architecture that aligns with the company's business strategy and objectives
- Drive business-IT alignment and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Develop solutions to support business growth and transformation
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to understand their needs and develop strategic plans to address them
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Provide insightful advice to support business decision-making
About You
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Architecture Lead who can bring a strong track record of success in enterprise architecture and a deep understanding of business-IT alignment. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
You will possess a relevant degree and have at least 10 years of professional experience in business analysis, project management, and business consultancy. You will also have at least 5 years of experience as an enterprise architect, with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing architectures that drive business value.
