This role is part of Green By Nature's efforts to enhance the natural environment. You will be responsible for vegetation and pest plant management activities within parks and reserves.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out chemical spraying and application of herbicides as needed
  • Manual removal of weeds and other unwanted vegetation
  • Operate spray equipment/machinery safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with other teams when required

Requirements:

  • Pest plant management experience is desirable, but not essential
  • A clean and current driver's licence with manual driving skills
  • A standard GrowSafe Certificate would be advantageous, but not mandatory
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help others
  • Demonstrated commitment to adhering to health and safety procedures
  • Physically fit, with ability to walk long distances and lift heavy loads
