The Procurement Specialist plays a critical role in our organization, responsible for acquiring goods and services that meet our needs while maintaining high standards of quality, price, and delivery. This position involves sourcing, evaluating, and selecting suppliers, conducting market research, and negotiating contracts to optimize purchasing value.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
- Sources, evaluates, and selects suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and develop solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven relationship management skills with vendors and suppliers.
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles and procurement best practices.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
This role requires flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
