**Job Summary:**

Direction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our client's team in Whangarei. As a Business Advisor, you will provide exceptional business advisory services to clients, using your expertise in tax and accounting to drive business success.


**Responsibilities:**

  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements
  • Providing a broad range of services to clients, including compliance, tax planning, cash flow management, and budgeting
  • Managing workflow and ensuring jobs are completed within budget


**Requirements:**

  • At least 2+ years of experience in a New Zealand Chartered Accounting environment
  • Strong technical knowledge in tax and accounting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in accounting software (Xero preferred)
  • A keen eye for detail
