We are seeking an experienced Performance Delivery Lead to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of major programmes and projects across the Council. As a proactive leader, you will be responsible for planning, coordination, and execution of cross-functional initiatives designed to enhance our service delivery and meet the Council's strategic goals.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and improve the services we provide to the community.

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple high-profile programmes.
  • Work with Programme and Project Managers (PMO) to ensure effective coordination and successful project delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including elected members, senior management, community groups, contractors, and others.
  • Guide and mentor cross-functional teams, providing support to ensure delivery of key targets.
  • Identify risks and proactively manage issues.
  • Oversee programme finances, ensuring delivery within budget.
  • Champion best practices and drive the continuous enhancement of programme management processes within the Council.
