Claims Resolution Manager

About the Role:
">This is an exciting opportunity for a senior professional to join our Claims team and lead the development and implementation of a new recovery function. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing recovery processes to maximise the recovery of claims costs from third parties, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include developing a comprehensive recovery strategy, establishing strong relationships with external providers, and creating performance metrics and reporting systems. The successful candidate will also lead a team of recovery specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
About You:
">A tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience in insurance claims or recovery is essential, with a minimum of 10 years of experience and at least 5 years in a leadership role. A proven track record in establishing or significantly improving recovery functions, as well as deep understanding of travel insurance products, claims processes, and recovery mechanisms, are required.
Strong knowledge of industry best practices, tools, and technologies for claims recovery, excellent project management skills, and outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities are also essential. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, experience in building and motivating high-performing teams, and proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and recovery management systems are highly desirable.
