About the Role
We're looking for an Instrumentation Technician to join our team at Rosedale Wastewater Treatment Plant. This role will involve ensuring that equipment is working properly, safely, and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include testing, calibrating, installing, repairing, and inspecting control systems and monitoring devices. You'll work closely with a team of technical specialists to maintain accurate records of calibration or test results.

  • Maintain operational functionality of instrumentation and control systems
  • Install and commission additions or upgrades to existing systems
  • Respond to control system alarms as they arise
  • Notify supervisors of any systems found to be at risk

About You
You'll need a proven background in instrumentation. A National Certificate in Industrial Instrumentation and Control Level 4 or equivalent is required. Current Electrical Registration would be an added advantage. You'll be a motivated self-starter with a positive can-do attitude and passionate about Wastewater and Water. You'll demonstrate:

  • In-depth technical knowledge of process control systems and experience in PLC, SCADA & DCS systems
  • Ability to lead and work with a team of technical specialists
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
  • Attention to detail with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
