In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of New Zealand's waterways. As a Marine Compliance Officer, you will work closely with the General Regulatory Operations (GRO) teams to investigate and audit commercial vessels to ensure compliance with regulations.

The GRO teams are committed to preventing harm and saving lives, and as a Marine Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in achieving this vision. You will conduct thorough investigations and audits to identify any non-compliance and work closely with vessel operators to ensure corrective actions are taken.

You will also provide education and guidance to the maritime community to prevent harm and promote safe working practices. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to maritime safety and security.
