Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Business Partner to join our team on a 6-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will work closely with our agencies in Auckland & Wellington, supporting them in designing and embedding initiatives that foster creativity and enable our people to excel.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Utilize change management and human-centered design methodologies to engage, communicate, build capability and bring to life the desired culture, values and EVP.
  2. Support leaders through change management and implementation, ensuring a seamless transition to new initiatives.
  3. Manage complex employee relations issues, applying your expertise to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
  4. Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and continuously review people practices to ensure they are progressive as well as compliant.
  5. Develop and implement effective leadership development initiatives, tailored to meet the specific requirements of each agency.
  6. Lead and manage the employee engagement survey, working closely with leaders to interpret the results and design plans to improve the employee experience.
  7. Oversee the performance planning & review cycle, coaching leaders to facilitate meaningful performance and development conversations with their people.
  8. Continuously build health and safety leadership capability, working closely with the Group Executive Assistant to oversee health and safety reporting, hazard identification and risk management.
  9. Be well-versed in the expectations of a multigenerational workforce and educate managers on how to attract and retain top talent.
  10. Lead diversity, equality & inclusion initiatives, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect within our organization.
  11. Use HR data and metrics to identify opportunities to improve employee engagement and experience, addressing talent hotspots and implementing solutions.
  12. Facilitate the development of career pathways, ensuring our employees have opportunities to grow and develop within the organization.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related field along with proven HR partnering experience.
  • Proven ability to influence and shape the thinking of smart leaders.
  • Hands-on approach to delivering day-to-day impact across the employee lifecycle.
  • Experience in driving diversity, equity & inclusion programs.
  • Strong project management and change management capabilities.
