We're seeking an experienced Server Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract. This is a hands-on role that requires confidence working across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to configure, install, troubleshoot, and upgrade networks.

About the Role:

  • Managing, maintaining, and optimising server environments across Windows, macOS, and Linux
  • Installing, configuring, and enhancing network infrastructure for better performance and reliability
  • Troubleshooting and resolving server and network issues efficiently
  • Upgrading systems and implementing improvements to meet client needs
  • Working directly with clients, ensuring smooth operations and top-notch service
  • Handling fast-paced environments where no two days are the same

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience as a Server Engineer (the more hands-on, the better)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux – you're comfortable across different environments
  • Solid networking experience – installing, fixing, upgrading, and optimising for performance
  • Ability to troubleshoot server and infrastructure issues without breaking a sweat
  • Great communication skills – you know how to talk tech to clients without the jargon overload
  • Proven experience working onsite with clients – confident, professional, and adaptable
