About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Energy Compliance Specialist to join our team at Transpower New Zealand Limited (TPNZ). As a critical member of our Quality & Compliance group, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our compliance with industry standards and fostering a culture of quality.

In this dynamic position, you will own critical business systems, manage key performance indicators, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing investigations, conducting root cause analyses, and driving improvement programs. Your expertise will facilitate effective information flow to support the transmission network's growth and operation.

This fixed term position offers professional growth opportunities and the chance to make a significant impact on the country's transmission infrastructure. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing grid owner obligations under the Electricity Industry Participation Code (EIPC)
  • Overseeing the management of Asset Capability Information (ACI) and Commissioning Activity Tracker (CAT) systems
  • Managing the provision of grid configuration and outage files for input into the FTR Market auction process

You will possess strong relationship management, influencing, and communication skills, with demonstrable leadership abilities and a track record of driving value outcomes in a complex, regulated environment. A Tertiary qualification in engineering, STEM or an equivalent field is required.
