About the Job: Madison Recruitment is seeking a skilled Property Inspections Specialist to join our team. As a Property Inspections Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating property inspections, including valuation meetings, pre-settlement inspections, and final inspections for flood-damaged properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Valuation Inspections: Coordinate and schedule valuation meetings with property consultants, ensure site safety, and guide owners and consultants through the process
  • Pre-Settlement Inspections: Ensure site safety, identify risks, confirm owner understands post-settlement site expectations, and address chattels and agreements with consultants/lawyers onsite
  • Final Inspections: Ensure the property is in the expected condition, confirm all items are onsite, and photograph for documentation

Requirements:
  • Prior experience in the construction and building industry
  • Solid understanding of building structures, site safety, and effective communication
  • Ability to think on your feet and handle various challenges
  • Strong knowledge of structural engineering and geotechnical issues
