Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health Specialist to join our team at American Foods Group, LLC. This role will be responsible for coordinating safety and environmental programs to ensure a safe working environment consistent with all regulatory and environmental requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment. They will also be able to support all shifts and contribute to meeting the mission and goals of the department and facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate safety and environmental programs, including PPE checks and safety audits.
  • Contribute to meeting the mission and goals of the department and facility.
  • Create Safety Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Postings.
  • Recommend and assist in coordinating various components of the safety/environmental program.
  • Function as a safety/environmental coordinator in all safety/environmental issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
