About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Radiologist to join our team at Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora. As a Consultant Radiologist, you will have the opportunity to work in a fulfilling role with a rewarding team and a great location.

Our Team

We are a close-knit team that values collaboration and partnership. Our Radiology Service offers a range of imaging modalities, including MRI, Interventional, CT, and ultrasound. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about teaching and passing on their knowledge to junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide high-quality radiological services to patients
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • To contribute to the development of quality initiatives within the service
  • To participate in an out-of-hours on-call roster shared equally amongst colleagues
Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has FRANZCR qualification or equivalent
  • Hold or be eligible for vocational registration with Medical Council of NZ
  • Has competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting their journey
  • Has experience in projects/initiatives that give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks
  • Is passionate about teaching and mentoring junior staff

Benefits

This role belongs to the ASMS Collective Agreement and offers a competitive salary between $185,380 and $267,980 per annum pro rata.
