We are seeking a highly successful Business Development Manager based in Christchurch to support and grow our diverse lubricants customer base throughout the South Island region. As part of the HW Richardson Group of Companies, this role will play a key part in driving business growth and achieving success in the lubricants market.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our diverse customer base, as well as identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to increase revenue. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with our engineering, marketing, and North Island colleagues.

We offer a competitive salary package, vehicle, laptop, iPad, phone, fully subsidised health insurance after 12 months service, training and development, and the opportunity to work within a progressive business in the petroleum industry.

Requirements
  • Recent experience in the lubricants or aligned markets
  • Strong understanding of market structures and associated networks of relevant contacts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
