**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Therapy Specialist to join our Child Development Team at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Counties Manukau, Auckland.

The successful candidate will work with a paediatric population (0- 2 ½ years) in a transdisciplinary holistic manner, providing therapy for children with a range of diagnoses including cerebral palsy, global developmental delay, muscular atrophy, chromosomal abnormalities and spina bifida.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating outcomes of care in partnership with patients, whaanau and other healthcare providers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Work independently as part of a wider team
  • Build and maintain relationships with whaanua, peers, internal and external agencies
  • Deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions, orthotics and equipment prescription

**Requirements:**

  • New Zealand registered Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with a current practising certificate
  • Minimum of 5 years recent paediatric clinical experience
  • Relevant clinical experience and knowledge of physiotherapy or occupational therapy practice in neurological rehabilitation, preferably paediatric
