About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks including:

  • Managing customer accounts, processing invoices, and following up on payments.
  • Administrative duties such as insurance and purchasing, as well as data entry and follow-up for operations and QHSE teams.
  • Processing account applications and entering customer information into our accounting system.
  • Payment processing and reconciliation, ensuring accurate and timely receipting of customer payments.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or financial accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting systems such as Xero, Reckon, or NetSuite.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and time management abilities to meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • A postgraduate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Economics would be advantageous.
