Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychological Consultant in Youth Justice to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessments and developing effective treatment interventions to support young people aged 13-17 who are involved in the youth justice system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify the needs and risks of young people in the youth justice system.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to address the mental health and addiction needs of young people.
  • Collaborate with our team to provide consultancy services to other organizations and support the development of their teams and the organization as a whole.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of a Master's Degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology or equivalent. You must also be registered with the NZ Psychologist Board and hold a current annual practising certificate.
