Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Forensic Mental Health Professional to join our team at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessments and developing sound formulations based on thorough evaluations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to diagnose individuals experiencing coexisting mental health and addiction issues.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment interventions to support clients, their whānau, and the community.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to provide consultancy services to other organizations and support the development of their teams and the organization as a whole.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of a Master's Degree in Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology or equivalent. You must also be registered with the NZ Psychologist Board and hold a current annual practising certificate.
