About the Role:
The Motor Claims Manager oversees a portfolio of insurance claims, managing all claims and negotiations across the Motor portfolio. This role is based in our stunning central Auckland offices and offers flexibility to work from home up to two days per week, with no weekend or night shifts.
Key responsibilities include answering customer inquiries, reporting and escalating risk and compliance concerns, delivering technical assistance and advice on insurance law applications, and developing strategies to reduce claims costs.
Requirements:
- A minimum of one year's claims experience in the insurance industry
- Sound knowledge of claims processes, with a strong preference for motor or motorcycle insurance products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High-level interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to plan and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Proven customer service skills and confident negotiation abilities
