Job Description

As a Butchery Professional, you will be responsible for adding value to our meat offering by cutting and trimming whole cuts. You will maintain solid product knowledge and inspire customers with ideas and advice. You will lead initiatives to have the best-looking butchery cabinets in all Farro stores, liaising with the store teams and our category manager. Additionally, you will monitor the quality of products and take action if quality does not meet our standards. You will champion and role model Health and Safety practices and processes, support the in-store culture of fun and discovery, and take pride in ensuring a consistently inspirational, quality, appealing shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adding value to our meat offering by cutting and trimming whole cuts
  • Maintaining solid product knowledge and inspiring customers with ideas and advice
  • Liaising with the store teams and our category manager to ensure the best-looking butchery cabinets in all Farro stores
  • Monitoring the quality of products and taking action if quality does not meet our standards
  • Championing and role modeling Health and Safety practices and processes
  • SUPPORTING THE IN-STORE CULTURE OF FUN AND DISCOVERY
  • TAKING PRIDE IN ENSURING A CONSISTENTLY INSPIRATIONAL, QUALITY, APPEALING SHOPPING EXPERIENCE

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong customer service skills, be friendly and approachable, have excellent communication skills, have amazing attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards. You will also need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about quality food and delivering outstanding customer service.
