We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our team at Te Toki Maurere, Whakatane's Adult Inpatient Unit. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing advanced professional leadership and management to the nursing workforce.

Your role will contribute to implementing our systems of care, enabling us to achieve our strategic goals and vision. You will have the opportunity to make a positive difference to improve health outcomes, particularly for our tāngata whenua.

About the Role

The Clinical Nurse Manager role is responsible for providing expert clinical leadership and management to the nursing team. You will be accountable for delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring effective communication with patients, whānau, and staff, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

You will need significant experience in Mental Health, preferably in an inpatient setting, and outstanding communication skills. Passionate about leveraging team strengths to foster collaboration, resilience, and excellence in care, you will be able to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
