Front Office Operations Manager

About Us: Novotel Auckland Airport is a 4.5-star hotel that offers luxurious accommodations and a range of amenities, including THIRTEEN50 Kitchen & Bar and a fitness center. Our hotel is conveniently located just steps away from the International terminal, making us the perfect choice for business travelers and tourists alike.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and complete Duty Manager shifts (AM, PM, and Night) while ensuring efficient guest check-ins/check-outs and room allocations.
- Facilitate daily briefings, ensuring staff are well-informed of relevant updates and operational needs.
- Supervise lobby services, including portering, ensuring timely and efficient guest arrivals and departures.
- Assist in staff training, ensuring adherence to SOPs, and accurately record and detail incident reports as per hotel procedures.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
- Proficient in using OperaCloud for managing front office operations, ensuring accurate guest data handling and efficient reporting.
- High-level communication & leadership skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability for overnight shifts as needed and adaptability to a flexible rotating schedule.
