We are recruiting an experienced Psychiatrist to join our Adult General Service team in Waitaha, Canterbury. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health needs, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Lead and participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care
- Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers
**Requirements**
- Eligibility for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
- Experience in Adult Mental Health, including inpatient, outpatient, and community settings
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
