About the Role

We are seeking two experienced Psychiatrists to join our South Community team in Christchurch. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality care to patients in the Adult General Service, working closely with other healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your specialist skills and expertise to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. You will work in a multidisciplinary team environment, contributing to the development of client-centered frameworks and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities and Requirements

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert psychiatric care to patients, including assessments, treatment plans, and case management. They will also need to have a strong background in Adult Mental Health, including experience in inpatient, outpatient, and community settings, and be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
