The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing assistance to individuals with intellectual disabilities to develop their independence and acquire skills for daily living.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with public transportation, employment, finances, and meal preparation
- Provide physical support and care as needed
- Work flexible shifts, including weekends
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience working within the disability sector or aged care (preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using computers and tablets daily
- Physical fitness to provide necessary physical support
- A Full NZ driver's license
Benefits
- $23.84 - $29.10 per hour depending on relevant qualifications
