About the Role:

  • The Client Relationship Manager will assist in the day-to-day management of client accounts and specific projects, campaigns, or promotions.
  • This role involves working directly with the supervisor as well as managing projects independently.

Responsibilities:

  1. To be a proactive member of the Account Service team in all aspects of development and client liaison, including creative and media presentation of strategy planning.
  2. Motivate fellow agency members and contributors to ensure a high level of professionalism.
  3. Monitor progress of all projects within area of responsibility.
  4. Provide a high standard of written briefs and clear instructions for the studio.
  5. Ensure strategies are executed in accordance with agreed-upon client needs.
  6. Work towards becoming knowledgeable on the product category in which the clients operate.
  7. Analyse all available marketing data and maintain up-to-date knowledge of clients' businesses and individual product performance.
  8. Understand the principles of Shopper Marketing and apply them to briefs and creative presentations.
  9. Work alongside the Senior Account Manager to make recommendations based on an understanding of the long-term strategy, plans, and tactics of the Client.
  10. Ensure the agency upholds the requirements and best practice principles of each service level agreement and other relevant client service commitments.

Requirements:

  • A passion for great creative, shopper marketing, retail communications, and creating original work that drives action.
  • Ideal experience of at least one year within an advertising agency.
  • A positive attitude towards all briefs, from smaller tactical to larger, more creative-led.
  • A team player with good communication skills and a focus on building strong relationships.
  • The ability and desire to understand the bigger picture and champion the agency's professional recommendations and creative.
