At Consult Recruitment - Professional Services, we're looking for a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll be working with businesses in financial distress, providing technical advice to both the public and private sectors, being involved in fraud investigations, and providing financial and strategic advice in the form of independent business reviews and independent appraisals.

This end-to-end role will cover restructuring, business turnaround, and insolvency work (voluntary administration, receivership, and the occasional liquidation), as well as working across other service lines including transactions (buy and sell-side roles) and forensic services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partnering with businesses in financial distress, providing technical advice to both the public and private sectors.
  • Being involved in fraud investigations, and providing financial and strategic advice in the form of independent business reviews and independent appraisals.
  • Covering restructuring, business turnaround, and insolvency work (voluntary administration, receivership, and the occasional liquidation).
  • Working across other service lines including transactions (buy and sell-side roles) and forensic services.

The ideal candidate would have had experience in a familiar accountancy environment, excellent client and stakeholder management skills gained from dealing with a diverse and extensive portfolio, solid financial modelling and experience with managing big data, and relevant certifications (CA/CPA or CFA).
