We're on the hunt for a Business Development Manager to join our Auckland team.
This person will ideally have either a background in Business Development, or as a Body Corporate Manager, with fantastic interpersonal skills and an understanding of bodies corporate.About UsStrata Title Administration is a leading national Body Corporate Management business with more than 25 years' experience providing high-quality services to our clients; unit owners, committees, and chairpersons.
We make the difficult easy, and the complex understandable.Description:What You'll Be DoingYou will be pivotal to the growth of our business, working closely with our Business Development team to build strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing developers and bodies corporates, whilst using your knowledge of bodies corporate to ensure any business we onboard meets the requirements of the Unit Titles Act (and other legislation).
You will also onboard new business, leading their first meeting with Strata Title, and ensure a smooth transition to their allocated Body Corporate Manager.This is a permanent, full-time role in which you will report to one of our experienced Senior Business Development Managers.
Your key responsibilities will be:Building and maintaining working relationships with developers and body corporate persons (chairpersons, building managers, committees, and owners)Working closely with our Business Development team to prospect new businessWorking with developers and contractors to ensure any new developments meet the requirements of the Unit Titles Act (and other relevant legislation)Maintaining a working knowledge of the Unit Titles Act and RegulationsPreparing for, organising, and chairing meetings for the body corporateEnsuring administration, service contract, and audit requirements are adhered toHaving a sound understanding of budgets and financials as well as administrationApplying professional problem-solving and multi-tasking skillsPlease note: there is some requirement for after-hours work for chairing meetings.

We also work with a supportive and exceptional team of colleagues.Skills and Experiences:About YouThe successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:2-3 years' experience in a Body Corporate Management, Business Development or similar roleA tertiary degree or diploma, ideally in property, management, marketing/comms or lawExcellent interpersonal, negotiation and facilitation skillsAbility to manage the demands of a rapidly evolving environmentMicrosoft Office skills; knowledge of Strata Master/MRI software an advantageStrong verbal and written English skillsExcellent interpersonal and time-management skillsStrata will provide full training on all technical aspects.
