Rocket Lab Avionics Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Avionics Harness Production Expert to join our pioneering team. As a member of our Avionics Harness Production team, you will have the opportunity to work with modern avionics components and systems, test equipment, and a limited number of simple mechanical systems.
The successful candidate will carry out all aspects of harness assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and rework. You will be hands-on, working with tools and equipment to build and assemble electronic components of the Electron launch vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Harness assembly, testing, and quality control
- Troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical issues
- Operation of mechanical, electrical, and automated test equipment
- Working with precision mechanical and electrical assembly techniques
Requirements:
- Trade qualified in relevant industry and/or 4+ years of relevant industry experience
- Precision mechanical and electrical assembly experience
- Operation of mechanical, electrical, and automated test equipment
- Comfortable working to exacting standards, including cleanliness for oxygen service
