We're currently seeking a Senior Vehicle Development specialist to join our Electron team in New Zealand or US offices. As a key member of our engineering division, you'll be responsible for designing and improving the structures, mechanisms, and fluid systems of the Electron Vehicle.

Your Responsibilities
- Design & Prototyping: Conceptualize robust vehicle designs using NX/SolidWorks, manufacture prototypes, and refine first articles with production teams.
- Verification, Testing & Troubleshooting: Develop test equipment, procedures, and analyses, manage design adherence to requirements, conduct thorough testing, and resolve anomalies.
- Planning & Execution: Formulate and review test plans, execute development project plans, direct tests, and analyze data to guide product development and risk assessment.

About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need a degree in aerospace, mechanical, or mechatronic engineering, along with 5+ years of experience in mechanical systems development/testing. Strong hands-on engineering skills, excellent teamwork and communication skills, and analytical thinking are essential. Familiarity with Solidworks or NX, scripting languages (Python or Matlab), and the National Instruments ecosystem would be an advantage.
