Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Build Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the continuous integration and deployment of our avionics, ground systems and production software.

This role will involve developing and implementing build automation tools and scripts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate software builds into the overall development lifecycle, and maintaining and improving existing build processes and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and implementing build automation tools and scripts to automate the building, testing, and distribution of our software
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software builds into the overall development lifecycle
  • Maintaining and improving existing build processes and infrastructure to ensure optimal efficiency and scalability
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a software development environment with major focus on build, continuous integration and deployment of software
  • Experience with embedded software development and associated tools
  • Linux and Windows system administration
  • Experience with Git, Redmine, Jira
  • Experience with Team City, GitLab CI or other build system
  • Experience with make, Bazel, cmake, automake

  • Experience with web and cloud software build and deployment
  • Network security
  • Project Management
  • Chef, Puppet, Salt, Transform or other provisioning system
