Responsibilities and Requirements

The key responsibilities of the role include conducting a needs-based assessment and providing appropriate education, resources, and referrals according to the needs identified, contacting, engaging with, and consenting participants into the study, conducting the WHIRI, TB questionnaire and social network survey, and following up identified areas of need.

The successful candidate will require a tertiary degree with three years or more experience working in health or research, understanding of Tikanga Māori, Te Ao Māori, and Mātauranga Māori, and the ability to engage appropriately in Māori settings.
