This is a part-time 6-month fixed term position for one day per week (0.2FTE), with the opportunity for more weekly hours as required.
Your focus will be to provide exceptional customer service to our clients and provide a link between our clients and veterinary teams.About the Role:As the Clinic Support team member, you'll be the welcoming face of our clinic, ensuring every customer and their pet receive an outstanding experience from the moment they arrive.
You will be the first point of contact for customers, guiding them through their visit, offering advice on products and services and fostering a compassionate, supportive environment for all.Key Responsibilities:Provide administrative support and manage appointment scheduling and records.Offer advice on animal care and nutrition products.Deliver outstanding customer service, both in person, over the phone and via our Digital Practice platform.Engage in soft sales, advocating products in a way that meets customer and patient needs.Support clients in understanding payment expectations and accurately process client payments.Assist with animal handling duties and basic patient care as required.Ensure patient forms and administrative documents are completed accurately and on time.What You'll BringWe're looking for someone who's passionate about animals as we are and brings:New Zealand working rights.Experience and understanding of how to deliver excellent customer service is essential.Basic knowledge of animal health products and veterinary services would be an advantage.An animal care or vet nursing qualification would be advantageous, but not essential.Strong communication skills and ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.Ability to manage tasks effectively in a dynamic, busy clinical environment.Previous experience in administrative tasks is a plus.Friendly, approachable and compassionate with a genuine passion for animal wellbeing.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Adaptability and proactive attitude, always seeking to improve the customer experience.Team-oriented with a positive attitude open to supporting others and contributing ideas.About UsHere at VetEnt + Petfirst Veterinary we're on a journey to change who we are and the experience of the animals and people we care for.
