Job Overview

This role is a unique opportunity to work as part of a small team in the Anaesthetic Assessment Clinic (AAC) at Canterbury District Health Board. As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining clinic flow, undertaking delegated clinical tasks, chaperoning patients if required, and general tidying and stocking. In addition, you will also be involved in administrative tasks such as updating patient demographics, scanning and uploading paperwork, and general admin troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will have recent health-related experience and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to be able to work as part of a team, be flexible in a constantly changing environment, and have a passion for assisting patients in healthcare. About the Role
  • Maintain clinic flow and undertake delegated clinical tasks.
