We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in our daily operations and charter quoting process.Job Summary: As an Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing daily bus operations while also managing bus hire and charter quotations.
A significant part of this role involves calculating and providing accurate quotes for our charter services, scheduling charters, and ensuring clear instructions are provided to drivers.
Your role will be crucial in delivering an outstanding experience to our customers.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily scheduling and dispatching of buses to ensure seamless operations.Coordinate driver assignments while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.Work closely with the maintenance team to track vehicle servicing and availability.Handle operational challenges, such as route changes, delays, and driver absences.Maintain accurate records of operations, incidents, and performance reports.Ensure compliance with all transport regulations and company procedures.Provide guidance and support to drivers, addressing any concerns or operational issues.Optimize routes and schedules to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.Calculate and provide competitive quotes for bus hire and charter services.Manage charter bookings and ensure all necessary instructions are accurately communicated to drivers.RequirementsPrevious experience in transport operations, logistics, or a related role.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work under pressure and manage unexpected challenges.Familiarity with transport regulations and compliance standards.Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
).Experience using scheduling and dispatch software is an advantage.Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.The Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will likely come from a bus or transport operations background and be looking to advance their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
