On occasion, admission of older or younger patients occurs after discussion between paediatrics, care of the elderly service and our services.Our aim is to deliver a service that best meets the rehabilitation needs of the individual.Patients have physical disability; diagnoses may include neurological disease, traumatic brain injury, multi trauma, and some medical issues.About UsTe Whatu Ora - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions, providing services to 350,000 people in diverse communities.

We believe that our dedicated and passionate staff are a significant driving force behind the achievement of these standards, and we need more like-minded people to help us continue providing for our community.About YouThis role would suit a Senior Registered Nurse with excellent communication skills, organisation and leadership ability.Other Essential Criteria Will IncludeRecent experience at an Associate Charge Nurse level or on an Advanced Nursing development programme.Nursing post graduate papers or a willingness to achieve same and evidence of working at Postgraduate Diploma level.Strong clinical leadership skills and sound professional judgement, with a clear commitment to high quality care.Recent experience working on quality projects and supporting teams through change.Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
