NZCL team is looking for energetic and motivated individuals to support people in their own homes.We're offering part positions and seeking someone who is flexible with working days and times.What does a Support Worker do?You will support people in their home and community to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives to achieve their personal dreams and goals by doing the things they want to do such as going swimming, attending sporting events, arts and crafts, movies, or shopping - the list is endlessWhat do you get?Earn competitive pay rates between $23.38 up to $29.10 per hour.Earn while you learn with free training towards NZQA Health & Wellbeing.Job security with employee benefits, sick/annual leave, and more.Employee Assistance Programme service anytime you need health and wellbeing support.'Refer a friend' bonus.Who are we looking for?Prior experience is not essential as full training is provided.Flexibility to work rostered overnight shifts and rostered weekend shifts.Full driver's license and owning your own vehicle is essential.A desire to support people to learn new skills and achieve outcomes.Somebody who has the initiative to push people for their goals, is energetic, outgoing, and can think outside the box. You need to be respectful of others' thinking and their way of living life that may be different from your own.Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness are important in this role as the people we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.If you are passionate about supporting people, then maybe there is a role for you here.
