This includes diabetic foot and wound assessments, treatment, and working closely with other health services to manage diabetic foot complications.About YouAs a Podiatrist, you must be NZ registered and be eligible or hold a current practicing certificate.
It is essential you have competence in managing high risk foot pathologies, including diabetic and vascular foot complications, wound assessment, treatment, and preventative management.You will need to have the ability to communicate and empathise with patients and their whanau using appropriate language to convey health related information.Current NZ full Drivers LicenceExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to be flexible and work as part of a team to manage workloads within the timeframesAbility to work independently and keep a motivated, positive attitude to health careCommitted to actively supporting Maori health aspirations, and engage with patients and their whanauWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
