The Finance Manager leads the strategic finance project accounting team, focusing on providing Property Delivery with expert support and advice.
This leadership role ensures alignment with the Ministry of Education's Strategy while driving performance and continuous improvement.
Salary range: $121,139 - $181,709 per annum total remuneration (base salary plus employer superannuation contribution).
The successful candidate will be appointed at a salary which reflects individual skills and experience.
For more details about the role, you can view the Job Description here Finance Manager About you | Mohou akeYou will have a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a similar discipline and experience in an asset/capital intensive organisation, ideally in the construction industry.You will also offer: * Ability to contribute to financial strategy and operational planning, supporting the Ministry's priorities and work programmes.
* Strong collaboration and relationship management skills, working across teams to align financial plans with broader organisational goals.
* Proficiency in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis, supporting budget management and reporting processes.
* Experience working with financial systems and multiple data sources, ensuring accurate reporting and insights for decision-making.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
* Ability to identify risks and support financial governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with Ministry policies and public sector financial requirements.
* The ability to adhere to the Public Service Standards of Integrity and Conduct.
