About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a physiotherapist to join our dynamic physiotherapy team.
This position will involve aspects of physiotherapy practice within outpatients, inpatients, community and rural settings with opportunities to experience pelvic health, MSK, respiratory, cardiology, pain, strength and balance, and community services depending on service needs.
This role would suit an experienced physiotherapist with the ability to independently manage a varied clinical caseload with skills in general mobility, balance and falls, and dealing with chronic neurological, MSK and respiratory conditions.
The role requires the successful applicant to be adaptable to change, resourceful and flexible to service needs and to have a genuine passion for working with patients and their whanau on their health journey.
The salary for this position will be based on experience and in line with the PSA Allied, Public Health, Scientific and Technical CA and APEX and TWO Physiotherapy agreement.

About the Service The Physiotherapy service has approximately 90 staff including Physiotherapists, assistants and administrators that work across the large geographical area that is Te Whatu Ora, Waikato.
We have staff based at Waikato Hospital, our secondary hospital in Thames and our 3 rural hospitals in Tokoroa, Te Kuiti and Taumarunui and across our many community bases in areas such as Morrinsville, Matamata, Cambridge, and Ngaruawahia.
Our vision is to provide quality physiotherapy care to promote, encourage and enable health, wellbeing and independence for the patients and Whanau in the communities we serve.
Our mission is to ensure that patients receive excellence of care, that our staff are supported and trained to work and maintain levels of evidence-based practice and that our service is equitable, efficient and effective in order to meet the needs of our patients and their Whanau.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly, supportive team who are keen to grow and develop our staff.
About you To be successful in this position, you will require: NZ physiotherapy registration, and a current annual practising certificate.
A current valid full New Zealand drivers' licence.
The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of the physiotherapy and wider multi-disciplinary team across a variety of environments.
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with patients, their whanau, and other health care professionals.
Have at least 3 years' experience in a hospital setting with a variety of experience in a number of clinical areas.
