SLT.START is part of LICHS (Lakes Integrated Community Health Service) which includes our Needs Assessment and Service Coordination services and District/Community Nursing.
LICHS sits as part of the Medicine Service.We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Physiotherapist to join our team in a 1FTE, 40-hour per week role.
This position requires availability to work five days a week, with a weekend roster in place, meaning you'll be scheduled to work on some weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays.
You will be expected to contribute to the community workload of the PT Team, as well as managing the START PT workload.
The Occupational Therapist sees patients on request to review and check progress as well as other patients in the community.
The team conducts a daily handover meeting and participates in a weekly IDT run by a Nurse Practitioner.About youYou will be a NZ Registered PhysiotherapistYou will have a Current APCYou will have a Current New Zealand Driver's LicenseYou will be a competent Physiotherapist capable of working independently and collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.You will have a broad range of experience and good assessment skills.Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic and be able to adapt to various shifts, ensuring excellent service delivery and team collaboration across the week.About the Team/Service/ LocationHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Lakes provides healthcare from its two modern and progressive general hospitals in Rotorua and Taupo, New Zealand.
