As a champion of our values—being a restless creator, seeking truth, and fostering collective well-being—you'll contribute to our mission of becoming the most trusted organization in Aotearoa.The Stuff you'll do:Develop comprehensive testing strategies (unit, integration, performance, and security).Integrate advanced automation tools and frameworks into the SDLC.Enhance test coverage, code testability, and defect reduction across teams.Drive adoption of modern technologies and practices to improve productivity and product quality.Align technical strategies with business objectives and oversee complex projects.Design and implement robust, scalable architectures.Ensure alignment of solutions with architectural standards and business outcomes.Mentor engineers, lead technical workshops, and foster continuous learning.Promote best practices in testing and software engineering.Partner with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts effectively.Ensure alignment between technical initiatives and business goals.Champion process optimization and the adoption of cutting-edge tools.Cultivate a culture of experimentation and innovation.Embed secure design practices within the SDLC.Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations.What You'll Bring7+ years in professional software development with a focus on testing.Mastery in testing methodologies and tools (e.g., JUnit, Webdriver, Appium).Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead technical discussions.Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.Expertise in aligning technical initiatives with organizational goals.Familiarity with Agile, TDD, BDD, and shift-left/right testing approaches.Knowledge of secure coding practices, OWASP, and WCAG standards.What We OfferAn opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative environment.A supportive workplace committed to your growth and well-being.Think you can do the job?
