Community and Events Fundraiser for Sweet LouiseSweet Louise is the only charity in New Zealand dedicated to providing practical, emotional, and financial support to individuals diagnosed with incurable breast cancer.
Membership is free and open to all New Zealanders facing this diagnosis.
While they cannot take away and cure the cancer, they strive to help Kiwis live as well as possible for as long as possible.The role:Join a purpose-driven team as the Community and Events Coordinator, where you'll help bring hope to those with incurable breast cancer through managing flagship online campaign events like Walk 50k and Sweet October.
This dynamic role involves representing Sweet Louise at events, providing exceptional stewardship to supporters, and ensuring engaging communication across multiple channels.You'll handle administrative tasks, organise fundraising resources, and assist with supporter inquiries while working directly under their experienced Community and Events Fundraising Manager, who will provide mentorship and help develop your fundraising expertise.You will need the following:Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar busy marketing, customer service, or fundraising roleUnderstanding of, or willingness to learn, CRM databases, including data input and basic reporting functionsStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasksA naturally enthusiastic person with genuine warmth and empathy, who approaches new challenges with an open mind and willingness to learn from othersThis is a new role in a small and powerful team doing amazing work.
You will work alongside a passionate and supportive team dedicated to making a difference.This is a full-time role (40hrs) with hybrid working, based in Eden Terrace, Auckland.
The salary is $60k - $65k depending on experience.
