The Parking Services Group plays an important role in the City. It supports the City's transport vision, policies, and bylaw. The Group encourages the public to comply with payment and parking rules. This is achieved by making it easy to pay and understand the parking system and through consistent compliance.
The role
The purpose of the role is to deliver a high learning and development culture for the Parking Services business unit by providing targeted, high level strategic and operational advice. This role identifies learning and development gaps, designs, develops, and implements frameworks and strategies to achieve the Parking Services development and culture goals. The role also delivers high quality training courses. The role will partner with Talent Acquisition to support the recruitment process to induct Parking Officers and other Parking Services kaimahi and will provide the necessary training for all new Parking Services staff to ensure that they are equipped to undertake their roles.

We are seeking a candidate with the following skills and attributes:
Learning Solutions Expertise: Strong understanding of learning solutions, including various training methods and techniques, to cater to diverse learning needs.
Tool and Product Development: Proven ability to design and build tools or products that support learning and skill development within the organisation.
Training Delivery: Skilled in delivering engaging and effective training sessions to ensure knowledge transfer and capability-building across teams.
Adaptable Training Methods: Knowledge of diverse training approaches, from hands-on workshops to digital learning, ensuring solutions align with organisational and team needs.
