The role supports our Counties Manukau clinical services in managing their patient referrals, first specialist appointments, and elective surgical bookings.
As well as communicating with our patient and whanau community, you will be working closely with clinicians, nurses, managers, and relevant teams involved in patient care.This is a part-time position working 35.6 hours a week Monday to Friday between the hours of 8 am to 5:30 pm and based at 15 Lambie Drive in Manukau City.
You will need to be flexible to move to other areas/locations within Counties Manukau as required.About You:We are keen to hear from individuals who are reliable and can provide us with real-life examples of their success in current/previous roles and how they would fit into and improve this role.The ideal candidate will need to have:Excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenExcellent time management & interpersonal ability2+ years minimum experience in customer-focused administration, preferably healthcareAdvanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and a quick learner of IT applicationsConfidence in use of, and a quick learner of digital software applicationsExperience working within a large & diverse teamIf you like working in a fast-paced, process-oriented role and take pride in your 'Attention to Detail' abilities, then you are exactly what we are looking forWorking at Health New Zealand:Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
