Your responsibility is to maximize the value of the GIS Platform by leading and managing a team of GIS developers. This role involves supporting team development, enhancing capabilities, and fostering a positive team culture. Additionally, you will oversee the strategic planning, architecture, selection, deployment, operation, evolution, and retirement phases of the GIS Enterprise platform, ensuring its performance and long-term success. Your role specifically involves leading the analysis and improvement of how different parts of the organization work together in GIS, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing solutions to optimize performance, as well as guiding teams in building, developing, maintaining, and enhancing all GIS applications. You will also manage and mentor the GIS team, providing leadership in technical and strategic directions while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
