**He angitūtanga: The opportunity**

Reporting to the Area Operations Manager for Whau, Waiheke and Aotea (Great Barrier), as a Senior Asset Information Lead, your work will involve a combination of in office and on site. Using GIS, SAP and Excel you’ll be responsible for the asset information management process and asset data collection plan within your local board area team, taking responsibility for the accuracy and auditing of data from all sources and stakeholders.

You’ll be mapping the risk profile of assets, capturing and recording asset attributes, and spending time on site across the parks and community facilities in your area to conduct condition ratings and grading of assets, and identifying assets that haven’t been mapped.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**

Asset management or facilities management experience would be beneficial, including data collection and mapping, as would the previous use of GIS and SAP, and the ability to manipulate large data sets.

As someone who is highly organised you plan and prioritise with ease to manage your time effectively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. You’ll be able to undertake on-site field asset surveys and assessments, and experience in or knowledge of the parks/recreation/community sector is preferred.
