Your mission is to ensure that our asset management systems, processes, and decision-making frameworks align with best practice, driving improvements across all business groups.You will lead maturity assessments, improvement roadmaps, and benchmarking initiatives, ensuring KiwiRail maximises value from its assets while delivering safe, reliable, and cost-effective services.Key responsibilities include:Leading asset management maturity assessments and improvement programmes across KiwiRailDeveloping an enterprise-wide asset management competency frameworkDriving asset performance benchmarking and best practice adoptionCollaborating with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of asset management initiativesChampioning a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-makingNga pukenga e rapu nei matou | What you will bring:We're looking for a collaborative leader with a strong background in asset management, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement.Essential skills and experience:10+ years' experience in asset management, transformation programmes, or process improvementProven stakeholder management and leadership experienceStrong knowledge of asset management methodologies, systems, and technologiesExperience in change management and capability developmentAbility to analyse and present complex data in a clear, actionable wayExcellent communication and influencing skills across all levelsDesirable qualifications:Degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related fieldProgramme or Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, MSP)Experience in asset-intensive industries such as transport, water, or energyNou te rourou | What's in it for you: Competitive salary and benefits package, including discounted health insuranceA vibrant and inclusive team culture that values diversityOpportunities for career progression within KiwiRailComprehensive training and development to grow your expertiseThe chance to contribute meaningfully to New Zealand's rail networkKua rite, kia rite | Ready to make a difference?Applications Close: 26th March 2025 unless filled soonerDue to Immigration Regulations, we are currently only accepting applications from candidates residing within New Zealand as New Zealand Residents or as Citizens for this role
